
Most of the parks you see screenshots of around here are not very efficient/profitable parks. This also means you can get away with fewer shops/depots/workers. A guest who is walking is a guest who is not paying for anything. Build one or two more when you can afford it. Try to have 2-3 rollercoasters with different intensities (medium, high, very high) that guests have to walk past. Put the expensive rides near the park entrance, positioned so that guests have to walk past the entrances.

$3-4 for calm rides and $4-8 for thrill rides. Drop it to $0 later if the scenario requires you to have a certain number of guests.

Watch what guests are thinking so that not too many refuse to pay that much. Set the park entrance price to roughly $1 for each ride you have. It's a sum of lots of small things, really:
